Award-winning Sunshine Coast Architects with 20 years of ownership and local experience on world-worthy strategies in design, built environment for people and place.
The Director of Gomango Architects, Liza Neil, was one of the first female Architects to live on the Coast and establish a practice in 1993.
Over 20 years of Sunshine Coast living and a childhood spent beneath the shark tower on Kings Beach, has given her a unique perspective on the history of the area and knowledge of the essence of locally appropriate passive climatic design and strategies for sustainability.
A long family history in both town, beach and country Sunshine Coast, and Brisbane gives Liza a unique understanding of the flavour, joy and passion of what it means to live in this gorgeous place we call home.
Working and studying in the Whitsundays, Byron Bay (NSW) and Launceston (TAS), has given Liza perspective of other regional areas. And teaching /tutoring at Uni and TAFE level have kept Liza in touch with current research and enabled her to contribute to community based research work.
Gomango Architects is a small but thriving practice that strives to do cutting edge work on the Eastern most tip of the Sunshine State.
